Obituary for Nora Kubiak Kubiak (nee Wane), Nora – age 93, of Cape May, NJ formerly of Philadelphia, PA passed away peacefully on October 30, 2018. Born November 26, 1924 in Blackpool, England. Nora met her husband Joseph during World War II while both were serving their countries in the military.

Nora enjoyed painting, reading and gardening, in addition to traveling back to England with her husband as often as possible. She is predeceased by her husband Joseph R. Kubiak (2009); siblings Lily Panepinto, Kathleen Kerr, Ronald Wane, Jean Keegan, Stanley Pinder, Edward Wane. She will be missed by her only son Joseph and his wife Meg and grandchildren Gretchen (Joanna) Kubiak, Alison Hummel, Lily (Steve) Ransom and great-grandson Cash Hummel as well as her two sisters Irene Klick and Eva Doublard.

Funeral services are being held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested in Nora’s memory to: The Tuition Assistance Fund at Wildwood Catholic High School, 1500 Central Ave.
