Obituary for Norma Martin Cancienne Norma Martin Cancienne passed away peacefully on Monday, October 29, 2018 at the age of 87. Beloved wife of the late Mitchel Joseph Cancienne. Loving mother of Joan Cancienne Alberado (Marvin) and Philip Mitchel Cancienne (Stephanie).

Daughter of the late Blanche Cuny Martin and Uzie J. Martin. Sister of Joyce Martin Glass. Survived by three grandchildren (Andy Alberado, Grace Cancienne, and Lucy Cancienne), family, and her lifelong friend, Nita.

She was a lifelong resident of Marrero, LA. Special thanks to the employees of Tranquil Living and Compassus Hospice Care for their excellent service and kindness in her time of need. A private service will follow at a later date.
