served in the US Navy , SEABEES in the South Pacific during WWII. Preceded in death by loving wife Anna: daughter, Patsy (Gerving) Yager, Gregory Craig, Geoffry Craig: grandson Douglas Boxwell Jr.; infant Great-Grandsons Samuel and Dominic Drews; Parents, Emil and Clara Drews; 11 siblings. Survived by children; Cynthia Shubert (Jim), Norman Jr. “Butch” (Donna) and Colleen WIlliams (Jim); Grandchildren, Kelly Boxwell-Fisher, Don Gerving Jr., Anthony and Daniel Drews, Perry, Tara and Alex Williams, Theresa Craig-Scheuring, Renee Craig-Ethen and Jennifer Craig, Gregory Craig III, and Joey Craig; 13 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Celebration of life March 19th at 4 PM with gathering 1 hour prior to services at the Billman-Hunt Chapel. 2701 Central Ave. NE Mpls.

Private interment Hillside Cemetery.
