Mr. Norvie Lee “Slim” Trawick April 02, 1927 – January 26, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Send Private Condolences Mr. Norvie Lee “Slim” Trawick age 91 formely of Geaton Road in Castleberry, passed away Saturday January 26, 2019 at Jay Hospital after an extended illness. Mr. Trawick was a native of Brewton and a long time resident of California before moving to Castleberry in 2017. He was a retired carpenter in the construction industry, a member of the Elks, and was a United States Navy Veteran stationed in Guam during WWII.

He attended the Oak Grove Holiness Church. Survivors; Son; Gerald W. “Jerry” (Lori) Trawick of Mexia, Ala; Daughters; Elizabath “Liz” Smith of Castleberry; Linda Gayle Davenport of Mexia; Charlee Skaggs of California; Step-son; John Kazlauskas of California; Step Daughters; Sharon Clarke of California; Sheila Batson of Colorado; Adopted daughters; Wendy Underhill of California; Lori Novak of Arizona; Grandchildren; Joshua Trawick, Patrick Wayne (Rachel) Trawick; Ashley (Brian) Strickland; Great Grandchild; Kinsley Strickland; Mother of his children; Beatrice Baggett of Monroeville. Preceded in death his parents; Lawrence Jacob and Ella Mae Blackmon Trawick; his wife of 53 years; Sally Trawick; Brother; Henry Trawick; Sister; Velma Ree Beech.

Vistiation will be held on Tuesday January 29, 2019 from 10am until 11AM service time at Craver’s Funeral Home Inc; Funeral services for Mr. Norvie Lee “Slim” Trawick are scheduled for Tuesday Morning January 29, 2019 at 11AM from the Chapel of Craver’s Funeral Home Inc; with Brother Wilbur “Gam” Graves and Brother Steve Cooper officiating. Interment will follow in Beulah Cemetery in Brewton with CRAVER’S FUNERAL HOME INC OF BREWTON DIRECTING. Pallbeares; Mike Davenport, Mickey Gray, Aron McNeil, Jeff Harris, Matt Runge, Bill Johnson.
