Odell L. Warren, age 88, of Escatawpa, passed away on Tuesday, February 5, 2019, in Pascagoula. He was born on April 14, 1930, in Flora, MS, to James Wiley and Myrtle Malissa Spears Warren. On November 26, 1952, he married Betty Jean Northcutt, in Greene County.

Mr. Warren proudly served his country in the United States Army, starting January 13, 1949, and was honorably discharged on June 16, 1952. He was known all his life as a hard worker. Mr. Warren worked for International Paper Co. in Moss Point for 45 years.

After retirement, he was active with backyard mechanic work until he was no longer able. He is survived by his wife, Betty Jean Warren of Escatawpa; son, Curtis Warren and wife Trish of Escatawpa; daughter-in-law, Betty Warren of Moss Point; grandchildren, Jennifer Waltman, Russell Warren, Andrew Warren, and Amanda Erkhart; and great grandchildren, Ashton, Sydney, Jacob, Noah, Emmie, Aubrey, and Matthew Waltman, Landon and Joseph Warren, Dylan and Kaylee Erkhart, Tyler, Trey, and Jazmine Stewart. He was preceded in death by his sons, Andy Warren, and Roger Warren.

The family will receive friends at Coastal Funeral Home, 12800 Hwy 613, Moss Point, MS, 39562, on Saturday February 9, 2019 starting at 1:30 PM, with a funeral service to begin at 3:30 PM.
