OBITUARY Ofelia Cerda August 3, 1926 – November 19, 2018 Ofelia Bonilla Cerda passed to God’s Heavenly Kingdom peacefully on November 19, 2018, in the presence of her loving son’s, Ernest Jr. and Arthur in her home. Ofelia was a member of Casa Emanu-El United Methodist Church and Choir. She also was a member of the Republic National Bank Choir, where she retired from in 1987.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Ernest L. Cerda, parents, Isabel C. Bonilla and Lucy Arias Bonilla and sisters; Anita Valencia, Maria Ester Porras, Juanita Febe Bonilla, Corina V. Flores and brothers Ben Valencia, Robert A. Valencia. She is survived by her sons, Ernest Jr and Arthur Cerda; sister, Alicia B. Cullen; grandson and family, Donovan Mariza, Ondraus, Jacob Olivares; and numerous nieces and nephews. Services will take place at Sparkman/Hillcrest Funeral Home on Saturday, November 24, 2018.

Visitation starting at 11:00 AM with Funeral to follow at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
