Olga Vukovich (nee Zelenovich), passed away March 23, at the age of 88. A talented dress designer, Olga graduated from Washington University with a degree in dress design. Olga married Sam in 1954 and they shared 62 wonderful years of marriage until Sam passed away in 2016.

Olga deferred her career goals and dedicated her life to being a devoted wife to her beloved husband Sam, a caring and loving mother to her five children, and a nurturing grandmother to 10 grandchildren. Olga was a strong woman with a loving heart, and she was the anchor of a tight-knit family. Her dedication to her family provided her children with the precious gift of a happy childhood and memories of a loving home and family environment.

Olga used her artistic talents to make crafts, as well as paintings and art work. Olga was also an active member of the Circle of Serbian Sisters at Holy Resurrection Cathedral in Chicago. Her tireless energy, positive outlook, and patient, loving personality will be remembered by everyone who had the privilege and joy of meeting her.

Olga is survived by five children: Jeff (Sue) Vukovich, Kim (Dave) Newman, Todd (the late Julie) Vukovich, Michelle (Dean) Simmons, and Mike (Kim) Vukovich. 10 grandchildren-Emilie, Ally, Michael, Ryan, Jeremy, Danika, Mila, Lindsay, Marko and Megan. Olga will be laid to rest in a private burial service.
