Oran Wayne Fifer was born on March 30, 1949 in Claremore, Oklahoma to Oran and Josephine Fifer. He died December 25, 2018 in his son’s home in Collinsville, Oklahoma. He graduated in 1967 from Collinsville High School.

He worked in many aspects of construction throughout his life. He enjoyed coaching his children in all of their various sports and fishing. He is survived by his significant other, Jimmie Thrasher: children, Sonna Gabourel and her husband John of Austin, Texas, Jodi Lea Fifer of Tulsa and Sam Fifer and his wife Alee of Collinsville and his loyal puppy, Otto; step-children Madalyn Wright and Logan Thrasher, Jay Enloe and his wife April and Lisa Koenig; granddaughter Violet Fifer; sister, Vivian Toothman of Collinsville, brother Charles and wife Tunnie of Collinsville and sisters-in-law, Gwen Fifer of North Hollywood, California and Peggy Fifer of Broken Arrow and an abundance of nieces and nephews that he loved dearly.

Following the burial there will be a celebration of his life at Silver Dollar Café in Collinsville.
