Oreatha’s Obituary Mrs. Oreatha Brasfield Munns, 79 of Conway, Arkansas Formally of Mitchellville, Arkansas passed away Friday, March 8, 2019 at her home. She was born January 8, 1940 in Oakwood Bayou to the late Perlina and Jerry Brasfield Sr Mrs. Oreatha received her education in the Oakwood Bayou Community and later received her Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education from UAPB.

Mrs. Oreatha also worked for the Area Agency, where she was a driver and caregiver, and she was a Jehovah Witness. She leaves to cherish her memories (5) sons; Johnny Smith Jr. and Curtis Smith of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, Melvin Smith of Mitchellville, Arkansas, Carl Smith Sr. of Winona, Mississippi and Steven Smith Sr. of Wichita, Kansas, (4) daughters; Velverlyn Freeman of Tillar, Arkansas, Bonda Smith of Dumas, Arkansas, Sharon Johnson of Conway, Arkansas, and Jacqueline R. Hayes of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, (4) brothers; Jerry Brasfield Jr. of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, Billy Brasfield of Denton, Texas, Curtis Brasfield of Chicago, Illinois, and Dennis Brasfield of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, (5) sisters; Patricia Watkins of Dumas, Arkansas, Perlie Boyland and Clydie Coleman of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, Lenda Moore of Dallas, Texas and Bonda Brasfield of Little Rock, Arkansas, (46) grandchildren, (88) great grandchildren, and (2) great-great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
