OBITUARY Orlando Rafael Torres August 24, 1966 – December 1, 2018 Orlando Rafael Torres, AKA “Oly”, age 52, was born in Chicago on August 24, 1966, and born into eternity on December 1, 2018. Oly was the beloved son of Luis Torres and Carmen Robles Torres; loving brother of Milagros (Domingo) Crespo, Geraldo (Iraida) Torres, Angel Torres, and the late Luis Alberto Torres; adoring father of Dalila Torres and Amarilys Inez (Brian) Torres-Squeglia; most adoring grandfather of Jorge Anthony Boyas, Leila Castro, and Isabella Cardona; unforgettable uncle, caring cousin, and fond friend of many, especially Shawn who wrote: “Oly’s joy for life and faith in Jesus was encouraging and he was always trying to help others, even when he himself was in need”. Oly was a devoted member of Jacksonville Beach Church.

Oly’s joy for life was apparent through his love of the sun and the beach and his passion for watching the sun rise every morning.
