OBITUARY Oscar B. Martin May 12, 1924 – January 28, 2019 Oscar Burke Martin was born in Nacogdoches, TX on May 12, 1924 and he went to be with his Lord and Savior on January 28, 2019. He was a member of University Baptist Church in San Antonio, TX. He faithfully served the Lord and was a Deacon in the Baptist Church.

He is his wife Lucille lived most of their married life in Houston TX until moving to San Antonio 25 years ago at retirement. He enlisted November 1943 in the Air Force and proudly served as a veteran of World War II flying on B-17 bomber as an Aerial Flight Engineer. He was a 32 degree Mason and member of the Masonic Lodge, York Rite, Scottish Rite and a Past Patron of the Eastern Star Boerne Chapter.

He loved to play golf and was humbled to have shot a hole-in one. He is preceded in death by his wife of 73 years, Lucille Martin. He is survived by his daughter Nancy Stacey and husband Ron, son Ronnie Martin and wife Joyce, daughter Debbie Vignes and husband Dwayne.

8 Grandchildren and 17 Great Grandchildren. Visitation will be at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, 6321 Bandera Rd.
