Otis B. DeLozier, 87 of Bryans Road, Maryland passed away peacefully on March 23, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on October 29, 1931 in Rison, Maryland to the late Otis and Rebecca DeLozier. In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by his beloved wife, Patsy DeLozier; his sisters, Annette Lovell, Sue Robey, Nora Lee Myronick, and Betsy Valltos; his brother, Buddy DeLozier; and his sister-in-law, Cathy Bledsoe.

He is survived by his sister, Sallie Musser (Mike); his daughter, Gay Cutlip (Dickie); his son, Tony DeLozier (Sally), his granddaughters, Megan Eccard, Lindsey DeLozier, and Rachel Pretko (Ryan); and his great grandchildren, Zachary, Brandon, and Kirstyn. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He served in the U.S. Air Force and was stationed in Guam during the Korean War.

He worked at Bolling Field and Andrews Air Force Base as a Supervisor of Fleet Management for the mechanical maintenance of the Presidential aircraft for 33 years. After retirement, he had many part-time jobs to keep him busy. He was a member of Pisgah United Methodist Church and served as the Lay Leader for many years.

He also sang in the church choir. He was a very proud member of Masonic Lodge #208 in Indian Head, Maryland. He was full of life and loved his early morning breakfast outings at the Lunch Box and Pancakes Plus.

He enjoyed singing, dancing, wood working, riding in the rain, and watching baseball. He was a huge fan of the Washington Nationals and Washington Redskins. He lived for, and loved, his family dearly.

Visitation on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 from 5-8PM at Raymond Funeral Service Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, Maryland 20646 and where there will be an additional visitation on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 from 10AM until time of Funeral Service at 11AM. Interment to follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens, 3221 Mattawoman-Beantown Road, Waldorf, Maryland 20601. Memorial contributions in Otis’ name are asked to Bryans Road Volunteer Fire Department (3099 Livingston Road, Bryans Road, Maryland 20616) or Perseverance Masonic Lodge 208 (31 Raymond Avenue, Indian Head, Maryland 20640).
