Everyone mattered to him and he mattered to everyone. Beloved husband of Judith (nee Gira) for 54 years. Loving father of Michelle (Tom) Harford, Kevin (Julie), Dan (Shelly), Michael, Jeannie and Jeff (Jen).

Cherished grandfather of Allison, Sam, Owen, Anna, Evan, Jack, Max, Grace, Charlie, Henry, Will, Joey, Ellie, Jake and Annie. Dear brother of Frank (Marilyn), William (Nancy), Ronald (Agnes) and the late Carolyn (Joe) Wolf. Owen was the former owner of De Pere Builders for many years.

A memorial gathering will be taking place on Saturday, February 23, 2019 beginning at 9:30 a.m. until time of mass at 10:30 a.m. at Saint Alphonsus Liguori Church, 411 N. Wheeling Road, Prospect Heights, Illinois. Interment will be taking place at All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines, IL. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Friends of Countryside Center, Inc. 2360 Palmer Drive, Schaumburg, IL.
