Ozie’s Obituary Ozie Lee Blackwood, age 72, a lifelong Atoka, OK resident, was born on Saturday, April 26, 1947, to Odie William and Theah Mary Leona (Bowlin) Blackwood, at Atoka, OK. Ozie passed away on Monday, May 13, 2019 at Oklahoma City, OK. He graduated from Atoka High School in 1966.

Ozie was a welder. Ozie proudly served his country in The Army during the Vietnam War. He was a member of VFW and he enjoyed fishing.

Ozie is survived by his brother, Bobby Blackwood and wife Ethel of Ardmore, OK; sister, Betty Cole of Atoka, OK; nephews, Robert Bays of Indiana, Jeremy Blackwood and wife Patti of Ardmore, OK, Michael Bradley Blackwood of Ardmore, OK; nieces, Mary Katherine Hall of Kalispell MT, Rachel Marris and husband Spike of Chickasaw, OK; along with other relatives and dear friends.
