Obituary for Pam Gipson Pamela Gipson Of Matthews Pam, 72, passed away on September 13, 2018. She was born on March 26, 1946 in St Louis, MO to the late Henry Edward and Martha Haynes Spytkowski. She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband of 39 years, Tony Gipson and a brother, Michael Spytkowski.

She was a graduate of Harris-Stowe State University in St. Louis and was a school teacher for over 40 years. She was an amazing mentor and touched so many students lives. She enjoyed exploring museums, cooking, watching movies and spending time with family and friends.

She was an avid gardener and was a member of a local Garden Club. Pam touched so many lives and had friends from every avenue she encountered. She loved her friends and family and was with them til the last.

Her neighbors were important to her because they had always gone above and beyond for her. She lived a gracious life that she was proud of by the love and enveloped by the love of so many. She is survived by her sister Stephanie Mayfield (Ross), brother Henry Spytkowski (Robyn), brother-in-law Perry Gipson (Julie) sister-in-law Joanne Spytkowski; nieces/nephews, Katie Mayfield, Julie Mayfield, Carrie Mayfield, Michael Spytkowski, Jim Spytkowski, Jasmine Gipson, Tyler Gipson, Kaden Gipson and Portia Gipson; step nieces and nephews, Shawn Coker, Stacey Byrne, Catherine Pherigo and Angela ton, cousin Tom McMahon (Shel); her very special God Child, Erin Lammert, and her very special cat, Ollie.
