Obituary of Pamela Carol Schatzer Pamela Carol Schatzer, 71, of Bay City, our loving, giving, optimistic, stubborn, compassionate, and considerate mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend was born into eternal life on the morning of March 4, 2019 with her family by her side. Pam was born on November 26, 1947, the daughter of the late Kyle and Mary (Schiattone) Phelps. She attended Handy High School and went on to become a Certified Nursing Assistant.

Pam worked at Bay Arenac Community Living Facilities, Bay Medical Care Facility, the Carriage House, and the Arlington. On August 27, 1967 Pam married the love of her life, Terry Schatzer; sadly, Terry predeceased her on September 24, 1991. Pam enjoyed crocheting, going to the casino, fishing, taking rides up north – especially in the fall, and she loved her dogs, Bandit and Riley.

Above all, Pam will be remembered for the love she had for her children and family, and her strength to get through all the adversities in her life. She will be missed dearly. Pam leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Terry (Rachel) Schatzer, Bradley Schatzer, and Denay Schatzer; grandchildren, Jalicia Schatzer, Roxanne (Max) Finney, Teara (Jack) Newman, Terry Schatzer III, Tia LePeak, Taren Schatzer, Terrayel Schatzer, Chantal Schatzer, Bradley Schatzer II, Damien Schatzer, Michael Sauve, Mason and Arien Schatzer; nine great- grandchildren; sisters, Michele “Micky” Buczek and Kyle “Kip” LeBeau; niece, Renee Buczek, and nephews, Corey buczek, Robert, David, and Matthew LeBeau, along with many friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, Pam was welcomed home to heaven by her sons Michael and Kyle Schatzer; daughter-in-law, April Schatzer; brother-in-law, John Buczek, along with her beloved dog, Princess. Pam’s family will be present to receive visitors on Thursday, March 7, 2019 from 3:00 PM until the time of her 7:00 PM Life Celebration at Skorupski Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 955 N. Pine Rd. , Hampton Twp.
