Appalachia, VA Pamela Lynn (Cox) Stewart, 54, passed away at her home on Thursday, March 7, 2019. She was born in Bristol, Tenn. on May 28, 1964 and was a graduate of Appalachia High School.

Pam was a member of the Andover Community Church. Pam could always be found behind the scenes serving others any way that she could. She was a loving Gammy to Audrey and was anxiously awaiting the arrival of a second grandchild in September.

She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and anyone who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents, James “Jim” Cox and Carolyn Fulmer Cox of Appalachia. Pam is survived by her husband, Brian Stewart; daughters, Shelby Bostic and husband Brennan, Abby Stewart; granddaughter, Audrey; sister, Peggy Barnett of Charlotte, NC; and a multitude of special family members and friends.

The Stewart family will receive friends from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, March 10, 2019 at the Roy A. Green Funeral Home, Appalachia, VA. Funeral services will be conducted at 4 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Tony Nunley officiating.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, March 11, 2019 at 10 a.m. at Powell Valley Memorial Gardens, Big Stone Gap, VA. Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. to go in procession to the cemetery. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.
