OBITUARY Pamela Rae Davis November 9, 1950 – October 20, 2018 Play Tribute Movie Pamela Rae Davis November 9, 1950 – October 20, 2018 Pamela R. Davis was born to Archie & Irene Davis on November 9, 1950 in Vancouver, Washington. Her family roots include Alabama; Georgia; Michigan; Boston; Iowa; California; Portland, Oregon, Bremerton and Seattle, Washington and Alaska. She received her Bachelor’s of Science at Central Washington University and then she went on received a Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Portland June 12, 1980.

She was a member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church located in Portland, Oregon. Later in life, she was a member of NorthWest Community Fellowship Church located in Vancouver, Washington. Pam dedicated her life to her community serving at several different places like California Youth Authority; Donald E. Long Juvenile Detention Center as a custody officer and Residential Counselor; Daybreak Youth Services, Janis Youth Programs; Skanner; Matt Dishman as a program director and the Urban League.

She gave numerous hours to working with victims of Domestic Violence and at risk youth. She wrote and produced two plays. In her later years, she served a lot of homeless people and veterans at her home, Grace by the Way.

Pam was good spirited and always moving closer to God. Pam loved family and she enjoyed spending time with them. All that she did for others was never an announcement to those around her or those receiving it.

She would always say “Showers of Blessings” and “Much Love”. She will be truly missed, but never forgotten. Her homegoing is celebrated by Cora Mae Davis, Aunt and the following siblings: Alfred H. Bell, Tarline Davis, Benny Davis, Marilyn Merfeld, Greg Davis, Archie Davis Jr, Theresa Murphy and Diane White and a host of nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

All her siblings reside in Vancouver, Washington. She is preceded in death by her parents, her Uncle Andrew Davis and her brother Joseph Bell.
