LAYTON – Parnell F. Green, 80, passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at his home. He was born May 27, 1938 the son of Parnell Green Sr. and Dorothy Green in Layton, Utah. Parnell attended Davis High School and Browns Military Academy.

He served in the U.S. Army. He married Kathy Phillips in May 1964 in Elko, Nevada. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Parnell enjoyed golfing, fishing, but he loved his family and getting together for the holidays. He is survived by his wife Kathy, son Parnell, daughter Amy, 10 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and brother Marley. Preceded in death by his parents, daughter Kristine, two sisters and one brother.

Funeral services will be held Monday, May 6, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends may visit family Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary.
