Albito passed away surrounded by his loving family on March 21, 2019 at the age 89. He is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years Emma, his son David, his daughter Michelle Gentle with her husband Timothy, and his three beloved granddaughters Sophia, Amelia and Leila. He is pre-deceased by his son Richard.

Born in San German, Puerto Rico, Albito came to the United States as a young man to find a better life. As a hard worker, Albito worked two and sometimes three jobs in order to achieve success. He worked a number of jobs in production until he became a master machinist, retiring from the Magnatrol Valve Company.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 25, 2019 between 4pm and 8pm at the Van Tassel Funeral Home, 337 Belleville Ave, Bloomfield, NJ. A service celebrating Albito’s life will be held at 6:30pm. In lieu flowers, please send donations to VITAS Healthcare, 220 Hamburg Turnpike, Wayne, NJ 07470.
