Solita Ocampo Oropesa, 75 of Sunnyside, Queens, NY, entered into eternal life on February 25, 2019. Born in the Philippines, she lived there and was visiting family here in the US before taking ill. She was a retired Food and Beverage Manager for the Sulo Hotel for 30 years, before retiring in 1998.

She was a parishioner of St. John the Preparer of the Way in San Juan City, Manila, Philippines. She is survived by her children; Mario Oropesa & his fiance, Karen Lemence, Marisa Mel Barzey & her husband, Winston, Michael Mark Diaz & his wife, Sherrylyn Santos, the late Manuel Diaz, Jr & his wife, Thess Diaz. Beloved sister of Imelda Salazar & her husband, Bennie, the late Danilo Ocampo & his wife, Thelma, Nenita Ramos & Maning Ramos.

Proud and loving grandmother of Shekaina, Adrianne, Nikki, Juan, EJ, John, Danielle & Anya. Services will take place in Manila, Philippines at a later date.
