Pasquale R. Mascaro, age 94, passed away Sunday, November 4, 2018, at the Ohio Veterans Home in Sandusky, Ohio. Mr. Mascaro was born February 19, 1924, in Cleveland, and had lived in Willoughby before moving to South Euclid 20 years ago. He was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of WWII, serving in the 81st Airdrome Squadron in Europe.

He was a member of VFW Post #4358 and F.O.E. #2412. Mr. Mascaro held numerous jobs including salesman and machinist before taking over the family business, Mascaro & Sons Landscaping. He retired in 1986 after 50 years with the company.

Survivors are his daughter, Lisa (Fred) McCord; grandchildren, Sarah, Joseph (Rebecca), John Jr. and Michael Mascaro, Heather Kainbryce (Kyland), and Gregory and Matthew McCord; great-grandchildren, Joey Jr., James and Nathan Mascaro; former wife, Irene Mascaro (nee Kolman); and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. Mascaro was preceded in death by his sons, Patrick, John and Richard Mascaro; and brother, Daniel. Fr.

Matthew Cortnik of Communion of Saints Parish will officiate services Friday, November 9, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Schulte & Mahon-Murphy Funeral Home, 5252 Mayfield Road (between Richmond and Brainard Roads), Lyndhurst, where friends may call Thursday, November 8 from 2 to 4 and 4 to 7 p.m. Burial will be in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens, Chesterland. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate contributions in memory of Pasquale to Mission 22, 1800 Blankenship Rd. , Ste 128, West Linn, OR 97068.
