Obituary for Patricia Alice Ryan Patricia Alice Ryan, 72, passed away peacefully on June 26, 2018 at her home in Port Saint Lucie, Florida. She was born on February 10, 1946 in Bronx, New York, to the late Kenneth and Florence (Lang) Ryan. Pat graduated from Walton High School in 1964 and made her home in San Pablo, CA where she was a legal secretary for over 40 years before retiring in Florida.

Pat married the late James Glynn in 1964, and they adopted a son, the late Todd Nguyen Ryan Glynn in 1978. Although Pat and Jim later divorced, they remained dear friends and partners, and enjoyed their retirement years together. She also had a special bond with her brother, the late Kenneth W. Ryan.

She enjoyed life, family members and many friends. Pat was always there to brighten the lives of others, especially “her guys” as they were so fondly known. She will be remembered for her love of books, the beautiful crocheted blankets and other goods she crafted, and her world travels.

She enjoyed experiencing new culture and cuisines, and loved trying new recipes. Patricia is survived by her nephews, Kenny (Angel) Thompson, of Port Saint Lucie; and Sean (Ginger) Ryan, of Ocoee; niece, Patti Jo Ryan, of Panama City Beach; and goddaughter, Rebecca Canales, of Hercules, CA. She is also survived by two great-nephews, Hunter and Connor Ryan, who she considered her grandchildren.

She also leaves behind her beloved dog, Teddy. A private memorial service will be held at a later date in Port Saint Lucie. Aunt Pat, you will be missed but never forgotten.
