Patricia Ann Anderson, age 70, of Laurel, passed away on March 27, 2019 at her residence. She was born on October 23, 1948 in Pittsburg, CA. Mrs. Anderson moved from Texas to Laurel 43 years ago and was employed as a hospice nurse’s aide prior to her retirement.

She was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, Troy and Helen Wilson and one brother, Bobby Wilson. She is survived by her husband, Horace Latrell Anderson; son, Troy Lamar Anderson (Crystal); daughters, Helen Cordellia Garza (Rudy) and Hope Ann Calderon; brothers, James Wilson and Danny Wilson (Penny) and sisters, Shirley Straight (Jim) and Carolyn Tracy.

She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, Christina Garza, Ruben Garza, Catarina Garza, Brett Anderson, Chris Anderson, Crysta Anderson, J. C. Anderson, Devin Williams, Dawson Williams, Justin Adams, Summer Adams, and Marissa Calderon and twelve great grandchildren, Alysha Alfaro, Aalyah Alfaro, Alexa Alfaro, Ruben Garza Jr., Serenity Garza, Zayne Mata, Roman Mata, Hayden Walker, Jayden Adams, Landin Adams, Daelyn Garza, and Kynleigh Adams. Visitation will be at Memory Chapel on Friday, March 29, 2019, from 5 until 7 p.m. The funeral service will be at Memory Chapel at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 30th with interment to follow at Fair Ridge Cemetery in Jasper County. Rev.

Allen McCord will officiate. Pallbearers will be Troy Anderson, Devin Williams, Rudy Garza, Ruben Garza, Dawson Williams, and Lee Hosey. Honorary pallbearer will be Tyler Ezell.
