Cordis Eddy passed away at Magnolia Gardens on March 20, 2019 at the age of 89. He was born in Alabama on June 9, 1929. Mr. Eddy was a self-employed contractor.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elisha and Gladys Eddy; daughter Keshia; sisters, Bell Nevells and Cora Lee Tisdale; and brothers, Gertis, Curtis, Edward, Lonnie, and Marvin. Those surviving her are her sister, Dean Hyatt Johnson and many nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 23, 2019 at Hinton Cemetery.
