Patricia Ann (Jolly) Cline, 75, of Great Falls, Montana passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at her home following a long fight against cancer. Per her wishes, no services will be held. Cremation has been entrusted to Croxford Funeral Home.

Mom was born on July 11, 1943 in Rapid City, South Dakota to Benny Jolly and Phyllis Walton Jolly. Her father passed soon after her birth and mom was then raised by Clifford and Phyllis Gerry. In June of 1959, Mom married Robert Dean Cline in Hot Springs, South Dakota.

They quickly grew their family with four children and soon after relocated to Great Falls. Bob passed away on December 4, 1999. Mom started working as a waitress at the age of 14.

She enjoyed meeting people and serving them breakfast or lunch. If Mom didn’t have a cup of coffee in her hand, she was likely putting one in a friend’s hand. After nearly 50 years of laughing and smiling with her customers and friends, Mom’s health forced her to get off her feet and retire.

Mom quickly transitioned into being a full-time grandma and enjoyed all her grandkids and great-grandkids. Mom enjoyed the last 16 plus years with her special friend and companion Ken Root. Ken and Mom were able to travel to see their kids and grandkids from Las Vegas to Idaho to South Carolina and stops in between.

The last four plus years Mom was forced to limit her travels with Ken to short trips to the cabin in Wolf Creek, his home in Lewistown, or a favorite restaurant in Helena or Billings. She is survived by her special friend and companion, Ken Root of Lewistown; son, Lee (Marcy) Cline of Buhl, ID; daughters, Penny (Terry) Booker of Spartanburg, SC, Jody (Ron Amiline) Cline of Great Falls, MT, Bobbie Jo Cline-Voelker of Great Falls, MT; sister, Berneil (Ron) Shaw of Tuscon, AZ; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren with one on the way; and numerous nieces and nephews Mom was preceded in passing by her father, Benny Jolly; parents, Clifford and Phyllis Gerry; husband, Robert D. Cline; and sister, Marla Leonard. Mom will be dearly missed by her family and by many friends that have reached out to us.

Memorials are suggested to Peace Hospice of Montana, 1101 26th St S, Great Falls, MT 59405.
