St. Albans/Milton – Patricia Ann King, a longtime area resident passed away Friday evening, July 6, 2018, at he Northwestern Medical Center surrounded by her family. She was born in Burlington on October 28, 1934, the daughter of the late Ernest ands Phyliss (Lovely) Trayah. Patricia was 83 years old.

Patricia was a graduate of Milton High School, she then entered the U.S. Army in October of 1952 and received her honorable discharge in March of 1954 and then was employed as a… Read More » clerk/typist with the New York Port of Embarkation. She was a long-time member of the United Church of Milton and Green Mountain Post # 1, American Legion. Survivors include her daughters, Roberta Dupont and her husband, David, of Bakersfield and Laura Sundstrom and her husband, Rick, of St. Albans, as well as her grandchildren, Kyle Palmer, Angela King, Cassy Goddard, Kahla Daudelin, Dillon Dupont, Dustin Dupont, Joann Sundstrom and Cameron Sundstrom and great-grandchildren, Gavin, Autumn, Jayden, Hunter and Ayla.

Patricia is also survived by her brother, Richard Trayah of Vernal, Utah and a sister, Ilene Morgan of Grand Isle and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her son, Peter Burnor; brothers, Leonard and Wallace Trayah and sister, Natalah Riffett. Private services with military honors were held on Wednesday at the Milton Village Cemetery.
