Tamarack City Patricia Anne DeVoe, 68, passed away recently at her home in Tamarack City, MI. She was raised in Prospect Park, New Jersey, the daughter of Arthur and Mae DeVoe, formerly the wife of William Wallerius Jr. and loving mother of Kevin Wallerius of Totowa, NJ and Kayla Wallerius of Zion, IL. Surviving also are her sisters Beth DeVoe Williams of Hudson, FL, Dianne Van Herwynen of Port Richey, FL and a brother Arthur and his wife Joanne of South Carolina.

Her sister Gail predeceased Patricia. In her younger years, Patricia worked for Kopel Color in New Jersey. She also did volunteer cooking for Eva’s Kitchen in Paterson, NJ.

In Michigan, Patricia operated DeVoe’s World Nursery and Greenhouse. She was an employee of Walmart in Houghton for the past twenty years. Patricia was very talented in many areas of crafts, oil painting and loved gardening.

A memorial service is pending.
