Patricia’s Obituary Patricia A. Tillman born Dec. 17, 1932 departed this life May 7, 2019. She is preceded in death by her husband of 64 years Col.

Harold E. Tillman, Jr. and sister Wanda Steen Baker. She is survived by her son Vance Tillman, Sr. (Kristin) grandchildren Vance Tillman, Jr. (Carolyn) and Kendall Carameros (George) and niece Susan Smith (Bill), nephews Jay Tillman (Ginna) Jon Tillman (Denise) and niece Jody Reed (Clint) and grandnieces and grandnephews. Pat served over the years as a teacher in elementary, high school and college, high school counselor and dean, leader in Officers’ Wives Clubs in Germany and Texas, leader in Bexar County Republican Women and numerous political campaigns, and Retired Officers’ Wives and Widows Club and Retired Military Spouses Club.

While accompanying Harold serving overseas, she chaired American Women’s Activities Germany (AWAG) leading US Military Women’s Clubs in Germany and upon Harold’s return to the Pentagon volunteered at The White House. She was a long time member of Northern Hills United Methodist Church in San Antonio, actively leading the Precepts bible study for many years. Memorial contributions may be made to Northern Hills United Methodist Church in San Antonio.
