Obituary for Mrs. Patricia Gwendolyn Clark Powers Patricia Gwendolyn Clarke Powers, age 94, passed away, on Thursday, March 29th, 2018 in North Carolina. She was born on September 16th, 1923 in Miami Beach, Florida to Daniel Webster Clarke and Blanche Midgley Chamberlain. She worked for the Navy during the war repairing planes, was a sheet metal mechanic, and in her later years before retiring was in banking.

Patricia lived in Florida most of her life, spending the last few years in North Carolina living with one of her daughters, Connie. She enjoyed traveling and researching her family lineage. Patricia created a family tree history of the Clark(e) family dating back to the late 1700’s.

She is survived by her 7 children, Connie (Larry), Richard (Christina), Marshall (Cleusa), Joan, Grace, Kathy (Kevin), and Patty, daughter in law Marlene, 14 grandchildren, Laura, David, Michael, Kim, Jeremy, Kyle, Camila, Gray, Sunshine, Justin, Katie, Gail, Amanda, Emily and many great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. Patricia Powers is laid to rest with her mother, father, brothers G. Winston and Gerald, and sister Phyllis (Bennie) in the Graceland Memorial Park. Funeral services were held on Friday, April 6th, 2018 at Van Orsdel Coral Gables Chapel.
