Patricia “Patti” J (Rainey) Trzasko, 64, passed away at home surrounded by her family on Saturday, January 19, 2019. She was a beautiful, strong, and loved woman who fought a courageous battle with cancer for the last 15 years. She was born in Westfield to Jean (Templeton) and the late Harry Rainey.

She was a loved and admired paraprofessional for over 20 years in the Gateway Regional School District and will be missed by all the children she worked with over the years. She lived for her grandchildren and loved spending time with them. She loved her summers at her place at the Cape where she could spend time fishing.

She also loved shopping and the New England Patriots. Patti is survived by her mother Jean Rainey of West Springfield, her three loving children Jill K. Trzasko of Chicopee, John D. Trzasko of Colorado, and Kara J. Trzasko of Chicopee. Her three cherished grandchildren, who referred to her as “Mimi”, Julia Savoy, Legder Trzasko, and Billie Trzasko.

Her life partner Mark Tatro, her brother Philip Rainey and his wife Debbie of Ludlow, her sister Pam Martell and her husband Donnie of Wilbraham, and her best friend, Robin Whitney of Westfield. She also had a late brother, Peter Rainey. Patti touched many people’s lives and will be missed.

Services will be held at Firtion Adams Funeral Home, 76 Broad St, Westfield, MA 01085, on Saturday, January 26th. Calling hours being from 12-2:30pm, memorial service to follow from 2:30-3pm. www.
