Obituary for Patricia Jean Golden Patricia Jean Golden (Quintieri) born March 14, 1947 passed away on June 21, 2018 after battling Alzheimer’s for nearly five years. She was born in Portland, Oregon and was raised in Vancouver, Washington where she graduated from Hudson’s Bay High School and also attended Clark College. As a teenager, her favorite pastimes were digging for clams on the west coast beaches with her parents and two sisters as well as skiing down the slopes of Mt.

Hood. She excelled at gardening, cooking Italian food, baking and crafting. She was a past Honored Queen of the Job’s Daughters International (Masonic Order, Order of the Eastern Star) in 1965.

In 1966, her dad received a company transfer to Columbus. This is where she met her future husband Jim, standing in line at the Swan Cleaners in the old Town and Country shopping center. They dated for two weeks before he was shipped to Vietnam and upon his return, they were married on February 24, 1968; a marriage which lasted for over 50 years.

Patricia retired in 2007 from Chapter 13 Bankruptcy Trustee as a Plan Analyst after 25 years. She was a friend to everyone, and always greeted you with her overwhelming smile. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother.

She will be greatly missed by all. Patricia is survived by her loving husband Jim of Powell, Ohio, daughter Shannon of Dublin, Ohio, son Justin, and grandchildren Sienna, Chase, and Scarlett, all of Philadelphia, PA; sisters Carol Dahlenberg (Duke) of Lewis Center, Ohio; Susan Malskeit (Gary) of Council Bluffs, I; brother-in-law Steve Golden of Dublin, Ohio, sister-in-law Janie Golden (Boise, Idaho), nephews Casy Malskeit and Jerimiah Golden, and nieces Lori Sabatino, Emily (Golden) Haupt, and Lisa (Malskeit) Walters. She is preceded in death by her mother Annabelle Elizabeth, father Mike Quintieri, and nephew Joey Sabatino.

Her final resting place will be in Dayton Ohio National Cemetery, where in time, she will be followed by her beloved husband Jim, an Air Force and Vietnam Veteran (1966-1967). The family would like to thank OhioHealth Hospice with a tremendous heartfelt thank you to Sue Reveron (hospice nurse and friend), Karen Roberts (Social Worker), Darlene (volunteer), and to Teresa (clergy) for conducting the service. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 from 5:00 PM -7:00 PM at the RUTHERFORD FUNERAL HOME AT POWELL 450 W. Olentangy Street Powell, Ohio 43065 where a funeral service will follow at 7:00PM.
