Patricia Louise Brown, age 80, of Versailles Borough, died March 29, 2019, at home with her family by her side. Born January 26, 1939, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late William and Gladys (Wrigly) Fulton and the wife of the late Merle Gene “Big Moe” Brown, Sr. Pat dedicated her life to faith and family. She especially loved caring for her granddaughter Hailey, for the last 22 years.

In her early years, she managed the Duquesne Place Apartments. Pat was truly the matriarch of the Brown family and anyone that needed an ear to bend, knew they could count on Pat. She always tried to be a positive role model to her children and her community.

She served on the City Council Board of Versailles Borough and was an advocate for Veterans and the homeless. Pat was a great cook and loved family gatherings, always welcoming friends and extended family. She will be deeply missed by all that knew her.

Pat is survived by her children, Myra Brown of Versailles, Joseph E. Brown of Versailles, Tammy L. (Robert) Case of Elizabeth, Donald Robert Fulton “Donnie” (Dee) Brown of Versailles and Gina Marie Brown of Versailles; grandchildren, Amanda, Nicole, Sarah, Matthew, Danielle, Trish, Lindsey, Atasia, Mariah, Joshua, Donald, Jade, Natalie, Hailey, Brian and Mark; great grandchildren, Sylas, Jacy, Aero, Gauge, Jaydan, Mckenzy, Colton, Alena, Jordan, Joey, Jesse, Christian, Danny, Sage, Amara and Aimee; also many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Pat was also preceded in death by her son, Merle Gene “Little Moe” Brown, Jr.; siblings, Norma Kish, Wendy Fulton, Barbara Burger, Charles, Ronald and Donald Fulton. Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Tuesday, April 2, 2019, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral service will be celebrated on Wednesday, 1 p.m., at the Highland Grove United Methodist Church.

Pastor Karen Burns-Hecht will be the celebrant. Inurnment in Round Hill Cemetery will be scheduled at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Brown family.
