Patricia Louise Wood March 25, 1957 – February 01, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Patricia Louise (Yanachik) Wood, 61 of Carroll Township, passed peacefully on February 1, 2019 surrounded by her loving family at Mon Valley Hospital, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born March 25, 1957 to the late Michael and Anne (Perecko) Yanachik, Patti graduated in 1975 from Ringgold High School and attended California State College. She married John Wood in 1982 and had three sons, the loves of her life.

Among her many interests, Patti enjoyed picnics and family gatherings, art, gardening, and animals …especially her birds, dogs and chickens. She will be remembered fondly for her love of children and supportive encouragement of them. She was previously employed at Hidden Treasures and more recently in Home Healthcare for the elderly.

In addition to her husband, Pat is survived by her beloved sons, Caleb, Damon (Jessica) and Elias all of Monongahela; dear siblings Monica Bright, Tom Yanachik, Kathryn Greenwood, Jean (Ray) Ghilani and Carol (John) Howarth; her mother- in-law June Elliott of Ocean City, MD; sixteen devoted nieces and nephews; numerous great-nieces and nephews, and many special cousins. She will be missed dearly by all. Friends will be received at the Marshall Marra Funeral Home, 216 Chess Street, Monongahela, 724-258-6767 from 4:30-7:30pm Wednesday February 6th at which time a memorial service will begin with a time of sharing memories by friends and family.
