Patricia Lynn Souder, age 69, of Bluff City, passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at Laughlin Healthcare Center in Greeneville, TN, after an extended illness. Patricia was a daughter of the late Germany and Dorothy Bryan Souder. Patricia was a lifelong member of Bluff City Baptist Church, and was a loving sister and friend.

She worked at Hills Department store as an office manager for 30+ years, and more recently at Bell Helicopter, in the accounting department. Patricia was very artistic and enjoyed drawing, painting and creating beautiful works of stained glass. Those left to cherish her memory include, her siblings; Kenneth Souder (Donna) of Johnson City, Rebecca Taylor (Steven) of Bluff City, Frederick Souder (Kathy) of Piney Flats, nieces; Kristin Barnett (Dr. Steve) of Johnson City, Keelie Watkins (Dr. Dan) of Knoxville, Amber Taylor and (Dr. Tony Talebi) of Miami, Florida, Lauren Weiland (Dr. Mark) of Humboldt, TN, one nephew; Daniel Taylor (Brittany) of Johnson City.

She is also survived by several great nieces and nephews. The family will hold a celebration of life service at 7:00 P.M. Thursday, May 2, 2019, at Bluff City Baptist Church, with Pastor Mike Carrier, officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 6:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M at the church.

The music will be under the direction of the church choir. Those who prefer memorials in lieu of flowers may make donations to; Bluff City Baptist Church, P.O. 220, Bluff City, TN 37618. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the doctors and staff at Laughlin Health Care Center for all the love and care shown to Patricia during her illness.
