OBITUARY Patricia Moore Sikes June 2, 1941 – November 6, 2018 Patricia Moore Sikes, entered eternal peace on Tuesday, November 6, 2018. Graveside services will be held on Sunday, November 11, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Robbie Jones officiating.

The family will greet friends on Saturday, November 10, 2018 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 866 Mulberry St., Macon GA 31201. Mrs. Sikes was born in Macon, Georgia to the late John Travis Moore and Flora Hodges Moore.

She married the late Wyndell Haskell Sikes, Sr. on June 5, 1959, and they had 57 wonderful years together. Patricia graduated from McEvoy High School in 1959. She was Willingham High School’s first Homecoming Queen in 1958.

A devout Christian, Patricia attended Tabernacle Baptist Church. Patricia was a devoted daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, who will always be remembered for her endless kindness, loving heart and thoughtful manner. She was a beautiful lady inside and out.

Patricia treasured her family and enjoyed planning and hosting family gatherings, making sure she prepared everyone’s favorite dish. The family would like to express their gratitude for the wonderful care given to Patricia by Iterim Healthcare, Summer Battle, DeShonn Proctor, Patricia Spears, and Hospice Care Options. Left to cherish her loving memory are her daughter, Cheryl Sikes Stefanis and her husband, Dr. George S. Stefanis, son, Wyndell “Dell” Haskell Sikes, Jr. and his wife, Jennifer DeGood Sikes; four grandchildren who were the loves of her life, Alexandra Ann Stefanis, Whitney Lynn Sikes, Wyndell “Dell” Haskell Sikes, III, Jacqueline Ann Marie Sikes, sisters, Jean Moore Bragg, Charlotte Moore Reynolds, brother, Larry Wayne Moore and his wife, Janice Johnson Moore; all of Macon, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
