Patty passed away peacefully on July 10, 2018. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and daughter. Patty was preceded in death by her father, Orlin Munns and her brother, David Munns.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 40 years, Dennis Shepherd and her children, Heather Kauffman (husband Eric), Joshua Shepherd (wife Michelle), Kayla Shepherd, Adam Shepherd (wife Brooke), Breanna Shepherd, and Jared Shepherd (wife LaNola). She will also be greatly missed by 11 grandchildren. Patty touched the lives of many with her sweet disposition and giving nature.

Her life was a life of service as a registered nurse who worked in multiple newborn ICUs and later at the Dan W. Petersons Special Education School. She was constantly giving acts of service to neighbors, friends and family. Patty was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and served in many callings over the years.

Her family was most important to her and cherished the time spent with her. Her grandchildren brought her limitless joy and we feel blessed that we were all together as a family celebrating one of our favorite holidays during her last day she was with us. There will be a viewing on Sunday, July 15th from 5:30 to 7:00 pm.

Another viewing will be held before the funeral service on July 16th from 9:30 to 10:30 with the service starting at 11am. The service and viewings will be held at the LDS church building at 494 W Main Canyon Rd in Wallsburg, UT 84082.
