Patrick Joseph Flynn, born March 14th 1939, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 24, 2019 with his beloved wife of 48 years Eileen by his side. Patrick was born and raised in New York City before moving to Parsippany, NJ and retiring to Bridgeville, Delaware. He graduated from St. Pius Elementary school, Cardinal Hayes High School and St. John’s University.

He worked as an accountant, financial analyst and controller. He also served on the Finance Council at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Seaford DE. Having grown up in the Bronx Patrick was a devout Yankee fan.

He loved his family dearly. If you were lucky enough to know Patrick, you were lucky enough. Patrick is predeceased by his parents John and Elizabeth and sister, Sr. Margaret Flynn O.P. Patrick is survived by his wife Helen “Eileen” and 3 daughters Eileen Kelly Flynn, Joanne Lozaw and husband Steven, Kathleen Eichberger and her husband Jay.

Two grandchildren Emma Hughes and husband Matthew, his grandson Connor and his great granddaughter Braelynn. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, March 2nd at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 532 E. Stein Hwy, Seaford. Friends may call at the Cranston Funeral Home, 300 N. Shipley St, Seaford on Friday evening from 6 to 8 and at church on Saturday from 10 to 11.

Burial will be in Bridgeville Cemetery, Bridgeville, DE.
