Patrick LaMattina, 70 of Staten Island, New York passed away on, January 22, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. Patrick was born in Brooklyn, New York to the late Cosmo LaMattina and Angelina Manochio LaMattina. He spent his early years in Brooklyn, attending William E. Grady High School, and later moving to Staten Island to reside in Annadale in 1975 with his wife.

Patrick proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, where he received multiple medals of honor. He became a United States Postal worker and later retired from the Postal Service in 2003. Patrick was known for his passion for fishing and boating.

He was a devoted husband of 47 years to his wife Mary Lou LaMattina. Dear brother of Robert LaMattina and his wife Elizabeth. Loving father to his three children, Diana LaMattina, Nicole Perri, and Joseph LaMattina.

Dear father in law of John Perri. Cherished grandfather of Skylar and Leah Perri A funeral service will be held on Thursday January 24, 2019 at 8:00PM at the John Vincent Scalia Home for Funerals, 28 Eltingville Blvd. Staten Island, New York 10312.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM-4:00 PM and 7:00 to 9:00 PM on Thursday, January 24, 2019, at John Vincent Scalia Home for Funerals, Inc., 28 Eltingville Blvd, Staten Island, New York.
