Patrick R Hinton November 05, 1934 – May 27, 2019 Share this obituary Send Sympathy Gifts Sign Guestbook| Memorial Donation Graveside services for Patrick Hinton, age 84, of Ruston will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, May 29, 2019, at Wesley Chapel Cemetery in Ruston, LA with Pastor Dalton Shovan officiating. Services are under the direction of Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Ruston. Mr. Hinton was born November 5, 1934 in the Wesley Chapel Community in Ruston, LA to Henry and Metta Ann Hinton.

He died May 27, 2019 in Ruston, LA. He enjoyed sports and had a distinguished athletic career at Ruston High School where he was the most valuable lineman in 1952. At Louisiana Tech University, he played four years and was team captain his senior year.

He was All American and made the LA Tech All Century Team. Pat had a very successful business career as a hospital administrator at Springhill General Hospital. Mr. Hinton was preceded in death by first wife, Vicky Reed and brother Joe Hinton.

He is survived by his wife Juanita Hinton; stepchildren: Diana Hudnall and Mike Brown; three sons: Ricky Hinton, Bill Hinton and Reed Hinton; brother, Tom Hinton, as well as numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
