Patsy’s Obituary Funeral services for Patsy Furrh Doane, 83, of Kennedale, formerly of Wills Point, are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 18, 2019, at Allan Fuller Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point with Pastor John Newton officiating. Interment will follow at White Rose Cemetery in Wills Point. She passed away Monday evening, May 13, 2019, at Cedar Bluff Nursing Home in Mansfield surrounded by her family.

Patsy was born May 12, 1936, in Wills Point, Texas, the daughter of James Harvey Furrh and Era Mae Bishop Furrh. She was raised in Wills Point and graduated from Wills Point High School in 1954. Patsy went to a business college and was employed at Members Insurance and Trinity Insurance, retiring around 1996.

On December 12, 1964, she married Ralph Carl Doane at the First Baptist Church in Wills Point. Patsy enjoyed going to church and being with her family. She was a member of the Red Hat Ladies and First Baptist Church Alta Loma in Santa Fe.

She had lived with her daughter, Patsy in Santa Fe for eleven years and later moved to Kennedale in 2016, to live with her son, Phillip. Preceded in death by her parents, James Harvey & Era Mae Furrh; husband, Ralph Carl Doane; brother, Blake Furrh and two sisters, Topaz Furrh Lea and Renee Furrh Young. Patsy is survived by her son, Phillip Doane & wife, Carrie, of Kennedale; two daughters, Patsy Bucki & husband, Peter, of Santa Fe and Melinda Pryor, of Sacramento, California; two brothers, Ted Furrh & wife, Betty, of Mesquite and James Harvey Furrh & wife, Billie Ann, of Canton; sister, Peggy Ingram, of Wills Point; three grandchildren, Benjamin Carl and Elijah Thomas Doane, both of Kennedale and Jeff Rubin, of San Francisco, California; seven nieces, Rosalind Lea Cori, Martha Young, Holly Stokes, Ann Mitchell, Mary Catherine Davis, Tracy Liebrum and Debbie Furrh Phillips and four nephews, Brady Furrh, James Louis Lea, Doyle Young and Yancy Young.

Family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday morning one hour prior to service.
