Patsy ascended from her temporal confines, on the sort of day she cherished most, one which was cool and crisp, with a clear cerulean sky, a day full of promise and welcome. One of her parents’ greatest joys, was to bring forth into this world, their loving daughter, Patsy, on July 24, 1946, in Hot Springs, AR.
Desiring to constantly expand her brilliant mind, Patsy studied first at The University of Arkansas, and then Louisiana State University, where she graduated in 1969. Keen to begin her career in the financial world without delay, Patsy moved to Houston, TX in 1970, where she strengthened her talents at Funds, Inc She transitioned her career to that of Institutional Sales Trader at Bear Sterns in Dallas, TX in 1982, in whose employ she gained her esteemed status of Managing Director.
A dynamic mind combined with a diligent work ethic, afforded Patsy an early retirement from the financial world in 2001, at the age of 55. Those friendships that Patsy formed during her career, were nurtured throughout her retirement, and remained steadfast. The days following her retirement, were shared with an ever-expanding web of friends, all of whom enjoyed her skill at cards, her recall at trivia, her firm stance on world affairs, her relaxed approach to golf, along with her reliable candor.
One might know, that Patsy was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother Ben “Benny” Anderson, but be comforted to know, that she is survived by her large family of friends, and that her spirit thrives within all of us, whom she adored.
