Paul Allen Ledford, 70, of Westminster, passed away on Monday, December 3, 2018, while surrounded by his loving family, at Carroll Hospital Center. Born on August 25, 1948 he was the son of the late Oscar and Aletha (Walker) Ledford. He was the beloved father of Michelle Cavallaro of Ft.

Airy, Margaret Shepley of Gore, VA, Grace Duram of Westminster, and Dave Ledford of Smithsburg; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by 6 brothers and 6 sisters. Music was Paul’s God given talent and true passion in life.

He played guitar and sang in venues all over the country. He performed with his bands, “Southern Horizon” and “Paul Ledford and The Band” at several fairs and events throughout Maryland. He was a member of the Westminster Moose Family Center Lodge #1381 and Locust Grove Church of the Brethren, in Mt.

Airy. The family will welcome friends on Saturday, December 8, 2018 from 10 to 12 and 4 to 6 pm with a service beginning at 6 pm, with Rev. Gregory Quintrell officiating, at Pritts Funeral Home and Chapel, 412 Washington Rd.

, Westminster. Interment will be private. Memorial contributions may be made in his name to either the National Kidney Foundation, Finance Dept.
