Obituary for Paul Ludwig Paul Earnest Ludwig, age 82, passed away on September 27, 2018, at the Tucson Medical Center in Tucson, Arizona. He was born on October 14, 1935, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Walter and Eleanore (Burkhardt) Ludwig. He married Connie L. Otterman on June 14, 1969, in Tucson.

He was employed as an electrician and was a lifelong member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 570. He was an avid barbershop singer and a member of the Society for the Preservation and Encouragement of Barbershop Quartet Singing in America and the Barbershop Quartet Preservation Association. He was a 50 year member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church.

He enjoyed reading, music, puzzles, and travel. He is survived by his wife Connie of the family home; his children, Cathie Richardson (Mike Thomas) of Edmonds, Washington; Christopher Ludwig (Missy Jo Romano) of La Junta, Colorado; Jeffrey (Jennifer) Ludwig of Spring Valley, California; grandchildren Ashleigh Thomas (Jed Edstep), Eleanor Ludwig, and Karl Ludwig. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, 8051 E. Broadway Blvd in Tucson with the Rev. Tony Dawson officiating.
