Paul’s Obituary Paul Joseph Collins, 62, of Dennison, passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2019, at Union Hospital in Dover, after a sudden illness. Born July 5, 1956, he was the son of the late Joseph Leslie and Alberdine Mary (Heil) Collins. Paul was a lifelong resident of Dennison where he was active in his community, having served as a former Mayor and Councilman, as well as a current member of the Twin City Water Board.

He was a faithful member of Immaculate Conception Church throughout his life and was a 1974 graduate of Tuscarawas Central Catholic High School. A longtime member of the Dennison Knights of Columbus #576, he was a Fourth Degree Knight and served as their financial secretary. Paul was also a member of the Uhrichsville Elks, Dennison Eagles, Zoar Gun Club, Tusco Gun Club, and Willowbrook Beagle Club.

He was employed by Pepsi-Cola Bottling Co. for over 20 years before working at Tusco Grocers, and most recently, at Marlite. On November 20, 2004, he married the former Marianne LeMonte who survives him along with two daughters, Elise (Matthew) Sickels and Jennifer (partner, Brian Ross) Brown; grandchildren, Alexis and Savannah Ross and Temprence and Damon Sickels; sisters, Carol (Gene “Mick”) Coutts, Susan (Larry) Kues and Janice (Robert) Taylor, and many nieces and nephews. Father Tom Gardner will celebrate the funeral Mass on Thursday, January 10, at 10:00 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church.

Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery near Dennison. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the R.K. Lindsey Funeral Home in Dennison. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Immaculate Conception Church.
