Paul’s Obituary Paul K. Young, 87 died Wednesday, January 9 in Rose Monahan Hospice Home after a lengthy illness. His wife of 59 years Selma (Babe) Young died in April 2015. He leaves his daughter Beth-Ann, wife of Steven Martunas of Worcester and three grandchildren, Jeremy Martunas and his wife Kaitlin, Joshua Martunas and his wife Lauren and granddaughter Melissa Owens.

He was born in Worcester the son of Jacob and Gladys (Pollet) Young. He was an office clerk for the City of Worcester Department of Public Works for 25 years and retired in 1990. He was a member of Temple Emanuel/Sinai synagogue.

Graveside funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial observance will be held on Saturday from 4:30 PM to 8 PM at the home of Steven & Beth-Ann Martunas, 9 Barry Road, Worcester. Memorial contributions in his memory may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester.
