Ms. Gussie Paula Rewis, age 46 of Pearson, Georgia passed away on Tuesday May 21, 2019 due to an extended illness. Paula was born on February 18, 1973 in Gwinnett County, Georgia the daughter of Robert Lee Hilliard and Sylvia Dean Rich Hilliard. She worked in retail sales and was of the Baptist faith.

Ms. Rewis is survived by: Spouse, Michael Glenn McDaniel of Douglas, GA: Two Daughters, Jessica Jones and husband Randy of Dublin, GA, and Kristen Rewis and fiance Matthew of Douglas, GA: Mother, Sylvia Hilliard and Stepfather Edward Cannon of Douglas, GA: Father, Robert Hilliard of Pearson, GA: Grandmother Dean Kersey: Three Brothers, Lee Hilliard and wife Danett of Pearson, GA, Chris Hilliard of Douglas, GA, Robbie Hilliard and wife Jennifer of Swainsboro, GA: Three Grandaughters, Jaylen, Lexie, and Brooklyn: along with several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Ms. Rewis was proceeded in death by a Brother, Gerald Hilliard. The family will receive friends on Thursday May 23, 2019 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Sims Funeral Home.

Graveside Services will be held on Friday May 24, 2019 at 11:00am at Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery in Telfair County, GA with Rev. Byron Griffis officiating. Sympathy may be expressed by signing the online registry at www.
