Paul Day of Goshen, OH. Born on March 7, 1941 in Ricetown, KY. Went home to be with the Lord on January 28, 2019 at the age of 77.

Beloved husband of 61 years to Alpha (nee McIntosh) Day. Loving father of Michael (Tina) Day, Mark Day and Beth (Randy) Staehling. Caring grandfather of Ashleigh (Tony) Stroud, Mollie (Casey) Shepherd, Emily (Josh) Straight, Mackenzie Day, Logan Day, Kellen Staehling, Daelyn Staehling and Gabriel Paul Staehling.

Proud great-grandfather of Hunter Stroud, Addisyn Stroud, Brenna Shepherd, Brooks Shepherd, Cameron Pelosi and Kinzlee Straight. Also survived by numerous friends and family. Paul was owner/operator of Day Plumbing Contractors.

He was a member of the Mason Masonic Lodge. Family and friends will be received from 6 PM – 8 PM on Thursday, January 31 at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28, Goshen, where services will follow at 8 PM.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 2 at 1 PM at Cow Creek Cemetery. Pastor Ray Brock will be the minister for the services in Ohio. Pastor Terry Sandlin will be the minister for the services in Kentucky.
