Pauline Ivy Franklin, 93, [2 weeks shy of 94] of Lanark Beach, FL passed away Sunday, April 15, 2018 at Big Bend Hospice House in Tallahassee. The family will receive friends Tuesday, April 24, 2018 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am and the funeral service shall begin at 11:00 am at Carrabelle United Methodist Church at 102 NE Avenue, Carrabelle, FL. Pastor Dustin Gatlin and Reverend Doctor Bob Gibbs will officiate.

Interment will follow the service at Evergreen Cemetery in Carrabelle, followed by a reception at the Fellowship Hall of Carrabelle United Methodist Church. Faith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements (850) 539-4300 or www. faithfuneralhome.com.

Pauline Franklin was born May 1, 1924 in Pernell, OK. Pauline was one of four children, three brothers [Warren, Huey, and Jack] of L.B. and Bertha Ivy who preceded her passing. Pauline was married to Robert Franklin for 70 years, who also preceded her passing in 2015.

Pauline was an active member of Carrabelle United Methodist Church, the Carrabelle Food Pantry and other volunteer activities. Her hobbies were baking, sewing and spending time with her granddaughter and two great-grandsons. Pauline’s baked goods were highly regarded and often when attending a church event she seemed to always have a special pie or brownies [from scratch] that she shared with her church friends and family.

Mrs. Franklin is survived by her son Kenneth ‘Ken’ Franklin (wife Joanna) of Tallahassee; her granddaughter Melissa Franklin (partner Andrew ‘Drew” Graff) of Tallahassee; and two great-grandsons Andrew “Aiken” Kenneth Graff and Oliver “Evers” Graff both of Tallahassee. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Carrabelle United Methodist Church or Carrabelle Food Pantry.
