Obituary of Paul Whitley Paul Luther Whitley, age 80, of Randleman died Sunday, November 25, 2018 at Randolph Hospice House, Asheboro. Mr. Whitley was born November 9, 1938 the son of Martin Luther and Mary Beaman Whitley. Paul was a native of Stanley County and served in the US Air National Guard.

He retired from Carolina Steel with 30 plus years of service and attended Amity Hills Baptist Church. Paul was formerly married to Katie “Kaye” Cameron and preceded in death by his second wife, Betty Sue Hunt Whitley, his parents, and brother, David Whitley. He is survived by his daughter: Julie Johnson and husband Boyd of Randleman; sons: Mark Whitley, Martin Whitley and Paul Whitley, Jr all of Randleman; grandchildren: Paul Luther Whitley, III and Tiffani Whitley; sisters: Janie Efird of Palestine, Lucille Collins of Troy, and Norma Cassidy of Chesterfield, SC.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 27, 2018 from 6 to 8 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Amity Hills Baptist Church, 4140 U.S. Hwy 64 W., Asheboro with Rev. Barry Wall officiating.

Entombment will follow at Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro. Memorials may be made to Amity Hills Baptist Church, 4140 U.S. Hwy 64 W., Asheboro, NC 27205.
